Maureen Taylor was born in London just before the outbreak of the Second World War.
Always a tendency toward the arts, she wrote poetry, sketched and painted from an early age.
The idea for Rain Around The Moon was a tiny seed in her mind from her late teenage years,
but remained dormant until 2009, when, with her husband’s encouragement, she began to turn
the dream into reality, resulting in her first novel.
Maureen now spends her life happy in retirement with her husband in Kent and Dorset. Although writing now plays a great part in her life, she still has time
to paint and create poetry.
